About ZIWA

ZIWA POLICIES
Reservation Policy
Reservations   for Monthly Meetings   must be made no later than the stated deadline date by:
  • Online Reservations or
  • post to the address of the incumbent ZIWA Treasurer, using the Reservation Form in the ZIWA News.
Reservation phone calls will not be accepted for Monthly Meetings.
Reservations for Other Events and Interest Group activities must be made with the Chairlady no later than the stated deadline of the Event or Activity.
Reservations are taken in the order received and bookings are usually not confirmed.
In the event of overbooking, you will be contacted by the event organizer. We will start a waiting list for Monthly Meetings, Events and Interest Group activities in case there are any cancellations.   If we receive cancellations, you will be notified.

Cancellation Policy
The ZIWA Cancellation Policy applies to all events that involve a monetary payment. A member who cancels her participation in an event after the cancellation deadline will be charged the admission price of the Monthly Meeting or Event or the cost for the Interest Group activity, where it states Cancellation Policy Applies.
The cancellation deadline for events is the reservation deadline unless stated otherwise.
Even when the Cancellation Policy does not apply, members are kindly asked to cancel as soon as possible if they are not able to attend an event. Such a courtesy will allow any members and guests on the waiting list to participate.

Guest Policy
Generally, there is a NO GUESTS policy for events that are heavily subsidized.
ZIWA members always have priority and guests may attend ZIWA events only when space permits and if approved by the Board. The guest fee to be charged is 100% of the cost per person. It is the responsibility of the ZIWA member to inform the event's organizer when bringing a guest.
Guests attending monthly meetings or interest groups should be advised by their hostesses of the guest policy.
The ZIWA member is responsible for paying the non-member guest fee. Guests may not attend the activities or programs more than 3 times. On the third time, it is expected that they join ZIWA on or before that occasion.

Directory Policy
The ZIWA Membership Directory is provided to members for information only. It is the property of ZIWA and may not be used for direct marketing to our members (commercial or non-commercial) without our permission. The reproduction and sale of the ZIWA Directory is strictly prohibited. Each recipient of the Directory expressly accepts this condition and recognises that unauthorised use of the Directory or its contents may lead to loss of membership and the enforcement of other actions available to ZIWA.

WHEN TO MAKE PHONE CALLS:
