Book Clubs
ZIWA has eleven book clubs for English, German, Spanish and French readers. They are all popular and many of them are full. Many clubs are looking at ways to extend their group, by starting a new group on similar lines to an existing one, or by launching a new group in a new area. You can discover them all in our monthly newsletter, ZIWA News.
ZIWA's book club chairladies
ZIWA's Book Club chairladies are a multi-national group, reflecting the association as a whole. One thing they share is a love of reading; they also like to bring together like-minded women to discuss a monthly book choice, which is normally selected by the group as a whole.
ZIWA Online Book Club
If you love books but don't have time to attend a regular monthly book club meeting, or if you do belong to one of the existing book clubs and would like to share your news and enthusiasm with a wider audience, then have a look at this new feature: we publish your book stories, recommendations, reviews, and (possibly) also interviews with the authors.

Do you like writing? Do you have a book in you? Then you might also enjoy joining our Writers' Group which meets once a month in a café in Zürich to discuss writing projects and encourage each other. Poetry, webpages, news reports, magazine articles are also reviewed and improved.
In 2009, one of our members, Maria Teresa Soder, self-published a book in Spanish entitled ABC animal en verso. Currently another member, Priscilla Schaufelberger, is putting the finishing touches to her autobiographical book provisionally entitled The Power of a Song.
