POUNDS FOR THE POOR


Charity drive to lose weight and give your fat to the poor


Whether it’s 3 pounds or 20, in 6 weeks you can make a big difference to your body, your self-esteem, your life and the lives of those less privileged.

THERE IS NEVER A PERFECT TIME IN ANYONE’S LIFE TO DO IT. SO JUST DO IT NOW AND FEEL GREAT FOR SUMMER!

SPRING: 3 May – 14 June

How does POUNDS FOR THE POOR work?

1) For 6 weeks, from 3 May to 14 June, you commit yourself to getting fitter, losing some weight and donating what you don’t need (excess fat) to those who really could benefit from it. AND, you do it in a fun way with a team of friends taking this journey with you!

2) You pledge an upfront commitment amount and then a “Pound per Pound” amount that you will donate for every pound you lose.

3) Get your friends and family to sponsor you too; or get the whole family to do it with you.

4) Participate in team events or go solo! Weekly meetings, weigh_ins, exercise groups, and suggested eating plan. You choose how to participate in a way that suits your schedule and still achieves the goal.

5) The Spring Programme POUNDS FOR THE POOR proceeds go to The Nelson Mandela Children’s Trust.
